- Welcome to the 2nd X-Omics Newsletter, which aims to bring you a summary of activity within the X-Omics project over the last year. The first newsletter was in July 2005, devoted to reporting on the first Bioinformatics Workshop in Orsay the previous month. This newsletter has many more diverse activities to report as the project begins to come to life.

A Replacement X-Omics Bioinformatician Mikkel Christensen has taken over from Jia Tian, to work on the X-Omics project alongside Mike Gilchrist in Cambridge.
He will be working, amongst other things, on the Xenopus Gene Catalogue, and the image annotation tool, both of which were discussed at the recent Gottingen meeting (see below). Mikkel (...)
